On August 23rd, the first Guangdong Weber Employee Skills Competition with the theme of "Developing Skills to Win a Wonderful Life" kicked off at the Gaoli Manufacturing Base, aiming to stimulate employees' great enthusiasm to improve their skills, enhance their business quality and quality awareness, prepare in advance for the peak season, and provide a "source" guarantee for improving product quality.
Mobilize enthusiasm and extensive participation
In order to fully mobilize the enthusiasm of employees, this competition not only considers the professional level of skills, but also highlights the characteristics of popularization. In terms of project design, it includes six projects: welding, component gas inspection, final assembly gas inspection, cloak, appearance inspection, and electrical practical operation. Among them, the welding and electrical practical operation projects are divided into professional and non professional groups, maximizing the participation of all staff and improving their skills.
Combining theory with practice
As a major platform for companies to discover talents, the skills competition adheres to the principle of "combining theory with practice" in project design. Not only does it have a solid theoretical foundation, but it also possesses excellent skills, which is precisely the most scarce and coveted talent for enterprises.
This competition has implemented a series of incentive measures and will recognize the winners. The judges of each project team will score 48 participants according to practical standards. The first places in the welding professional group, welding non professional group, electrical maintenance professional group, electrical maintenance non professional group, appearance inspection, and enamel gas inspection are respectively Li Chuang, Zhai Zhigang, Huang Xuexun, Huang Rongbai, Hu Yongcheng, and Hou Dexing, while Ma Wanju, Zhu Bo, Liu Zhensong, Kong Liangqun, Yang Chaoxia, Lan Jun, Lu Chaoyu and others jointly won the first place in the wind blowing approval project.
The successful holding of the first Guangdong Weber Employee Skills Competition is just the beginning. It will gradually become a platform for frontline employees to exchange skills, exchange techniques, and showcase talents. It will also become a training ground for companies to discover talents, optimize talent allocation, and build a technically proficient and knowledge-based team.
